New Online Booking
ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM - TEST PHASE ONLY PLEASE REGISTER NOW
The new on-line booking system for members will go live shortly – we are waiting on a new laptop for the Pro-shop and current expected date of “Go Live” is Thursday 15th April.
This will mean that you can book online from Thursday 8th April
Until then, the normal paper booking system in the Pro-shop will apply.
The “User Codes” for you to register are on a list in each locker room, and at the Touch Screen computer in the lounge. Please take a note of your “User Code” as you will need this every time you make an online booking.
Please then go to the Burntisland Golf House Club website
www.burntislandgolfhouseclub.co.uk
scroll down the left hand side until you see “New Online Booking”
and then click on “Members click here”. Then “Click here to register”.
Enter your “User Code” and then create your own personal password, complete the rest of the registration screen – then finally press “Register”.
Your account will be activated shortly thereafter and you will be able to book online.
Please remember – you can still continue to book via telephone and in person at the Pro-shop – so if you do not have a computer or e-mail access, do not worry! Please though, register if you can!

American visitor achieves hole in one
Recent American visitor to Burntisland, Michael Moore, achieved a hole in one at the 5th hole on Thursday 9th July 2009. Congratulations from all at Burntisland Golf House Club.

Burntisland Success Stories
The Ram’s Horn Trophy, an annual inter-club singles match between Aberdour, BGHC & Kinghorn was played at BGHC on Friday 29th May, and won by the home club.
The Nairn Trophy is an annual inter-club team event originally founded by Michael Nairn of the famous Kirkcaldy factory. Teams from Aberdour, Burntisland GC, Burntisland GHC, Dunnikier Park, Kirkcaldy & Kinghorn played team foursomes during the week of 15th June at Aberdour GC. Alan Anderson, Scott Brownlie, Euan Mitchell, and Fraser Hutchison of BGHC defeated BGC (the Old Club) in the Final on Saturday 20th June.

Captain’s Day 4th July 2009
Ross Mitchell was pleased to present prizes to John Poulton (net 63, including a 2-shot penalty), Bill Beveridge (scratch 63), Liz Jones (leading lady), Fraser Rollo (winning junior) and Sophie Costello (top putter).
A smallish but convivial crowd enjoyed the disco entertainment afterwards.

Mitchell Trophy 2009
For the first time ever, 2 Ladies teams met in the Final of the Mitchell competition. Ladies ‘A’ triumphed, pictured below, l to r, Marilyn Jardine, Eleanor Fisher, Anne Main, Maud Miller and Maggie Pearson.
